We’ll Be At The Talbott Hotel’s National Dog Day Fashion Show!

Did you know National Dog Day is tomorrow, August 26th?? If you said, “Snort no!” then don’t worry – you’re in good company. We’re a liiiittle embarrassed to say as a dog-centric company, but before yesterday, we didn’t know either! But thanks to our PAWESOME friend, Marii Nguyen Langjahr of the Jax & Friends Chicago Meetup Group, she informed us that there is not only a National Dog Day tomorrow (AWESOME), but there is ALSO a dog fashion show at the uber-dog-friendly Talbott’s Hotel! (WHAAAAT?!) Yes. A dog fashion show! *AND* that (thanks in no small part to Marii) the Talbott Hotel wants Snort Monster to rock our pop-up shop! (EXCUSEMEWHAAAAAAAT?!!)

Some notable points of pawesomeness:

• You can bring your dog!
• 100% of the $10 entry fee will be donated to PAWS Chicago.
• Emceed by LeeAnn Trotter of NBC 5 Chicago
• Neighborhood pups will walk the red carpet decked out in doggie fashions from Tails in the City and Vanderpump Pets.
• Two adoptable dogs from PAWS Chicago will make a cameo on the catwalk.
• Signature Cocktail called the Poochy Collins by Mercadito Kitchen will be available for doggie moms and dads.

As you may know, Jeff and I give $1 of each tee sold to a different Snort Monster Friend of the Month, but in spirit this Chicago-centric event, we’ll donate 25% of our sales to PAWS Chicago.

We originally had printing scheduled for later in the week, but we’ve bumped up our printing schedule so we can offer some brand new Chicago-centric Snort gear for dog fashion show goers tomorrow night. WE CAN’T WAIT! (And, I gotta say, we’re pretty excited to try that Poochy Collins signature cocktail too.)
